Nice surprises…including a 4-star review!

I got a few nice surprises this week, and those are always the best kind. I'll not mention the not-so-good surprises this time.

On my birthday, I came home to find print copies of Sex, Lies & Wedding Bells waiting on the doorstep in one of those fun-to-receive Amazon boxes! It was very exciting to hold a real paperback copy of my book, with review blurbs on the back and everything!  It's currently around ranking 550,000 on Amazon, but the title is now spelled correctly, and I call that a win.

I won a book (Feral by Joely Skye) in a twitter contest yesterday, which surprised the heck out of me. I rarely win anything.

And today while catching up with some blogs I like to read I discovered a really nice 4-star review of my short story  "A Heat Seeking Missile" over on Reviews by Jessewave:

"This is a delightful sexual romp and if you have only a little free time it would be a nice way to spend it. Both protags were three dimensional and they seemed as real as anyone you would meet on the street. .. I would definitely recommend this story."
