Hunter arrived at the shoot with his boyfriend (performers frequently do this). This was his first scene EVER and he was so new to the biz he hadn’t even picked out his “porn name” yet.
My porn name (based on my first dog’s name and my street addy where I grew up is Sammy Fletcher. Is that hot or, not? I can’t decide…Anyway, Hunter’s boyfriend was happy to have him shoot a solo scene…I’ll keep you posted on future developments. Hunter is sweet and smoldering…I’d love to see him do more. And he better. As my character Jack Cannon he does a lot of fucking in my books!
It’s amazing to me how many guys drift in and out of gay porn. Guys fall in love and shoot movies together, they break up and still shoot movies together…I’ve seen a lot of that lately. You wonder if it’s awkward. They always swear it isn’t.
Real-life couple Samuel Colt and Tony Aziz shot a threesome with Nash Lawler. I didn’t know Samuel and Tony were a couple, I just saw the intense chemistry between them and then figured it out when I read Samuel’s tweets online.

The director called him and left messages, with no response. We checked Twitter (he’s an obsessive tweeter) and learned he was on his way…to another shoot!
Our movie however heralds the return of the mighty Rob Romoni, who plays corrupt cop Will Tallman (ex-lover of my good guy cop Jack Cannon). Rob is a very naughty boy. This brings me to another point: Gay porn is embraced and revered by its own community in a way that straight porn is not. There are many reasons for this, but I find it a fascinating subject and could go on at length but I won’t.

Sorry, I feel the urge to yell that. Don’t know why but I do…anyway, because of this acceptance, fans – and I include authors in this group – have closer access now, more than ever to gay porn stars. With so many female readers flocking to M/M fiction and also to gay porn, many performers are aware of this. Most of them are nice and love their female fans. The smart ones know that more and more women are watching their movies.
If you want to know how porn performers think and feel, read their blogs and tweets. Samuel Colt is one of the stars of “Bad Cops” but he doesn’t follow me on Twitter, which is cool. I checked his tweets after he shot a second, solo scene for us and was tickled by his candid tweet:

You’re definitely a leader in this industry with not only the first book/porn duo, but the first audiobook with Phantom Lover (eXtacy).
