What I’m Reading

Most of the last week has been spent writing, with two stories finished and edits on Sex, Lies & Wedding Bells. But over the weekend I took some time to do a bit of reading. Fellow Torquere author Syd McGinley has a series of stories centering on the intriguing character of Dr. Fell. I’d heard how popular Dr. Fell was and finally, I succumbed and started reading.

So far I’ve read two of Syd’s stories, Petsitting and Pet Rescue, and I’m working my way through a third one now: Exotic Pets. I didn’t quite know what the characters would be like when I started, and I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting full time D/s here, but I have to admit I quickly grew to like Dr. Fell and his friends and I’m definitely fascinated by the lifestyle, which is something I hadn’t read much of until now. It’s certainly gotten me interested in learning more. Dr. Fell is such a nice guy, but boy he can sure punish a boy when he deserves it. The details of day-to-day activities and how the D/s community looks out for the welfare of its members was a really interesting plus to the stories. I can’t wait for poor Dr. Fell to find the right boy and soon!

So, if you like heavy D/s, you’ll love these stories. If you’re not sure, give the first one a read. It’s short and you’ll find the characters endearing ,and if you’re like me, you’ll want to understand a lot more about the subject and absolutely want to know more about what happens to these characters. I can see why Dr. Fell is so popular and thankfully Syd has lots more stories to tell us about them.

If you’ve read other good D/s books, please feel free to rec your favorites to me.

Nice one! If I could write like this I would be well chuffed. The more I read articles of such quality as this (which is rare), the more I think there might be a future for the Web. Keep it up, as it were.
