Need some feedback on blurbs [friends only]

I'm working on the blurbs for my Cobblestone release and I'd love to get some comments/critique from my flist. Please let me know whether you like it or not and what I should change.

I need 4 different ones of different lengths: 100, 50, 25 & 12 words! I'm freaking out. It's hard enough to write one.  Thank you in advance!
