For the time being, I set up all comments for moderation here. The spammers seem to have discovered this blog and I’m getting lots of spam comments. So if you don’t see your comment show up right away, that’s why.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I’m surprised to see 10-15 spam comments a day lately! Is this a general problem with wordpress blogs? I may set it up to use a captcha instead.

It does seem to be. My WordPress blog gets hardly any traffic at all, except for comment spam. :/ So far I’ve resisted adding a captcha just because I hate those things, but I’ve turned comments off on a couple of old posts which were attracting the lion’s share of spam for a while, for whatever reason. I don’t know why WordPress attracts it when my higher-traffic Blogspot blog doesn’t (not that that’s any kind of complaint, mind you) but there you go.
