Since I\u2019m sort of one of the final few bringing up the rear, if you will, of Cocktoberfest \u2013 I thought I might take the opportunity to reminisce over the past week a bit.\u00a0 Put a few things into perspective and of course talk about some of the new things I\u2019ve learned.<\/p>\n
Ah \u2013 Cocktoberfest.\u00a0 The images the word inspired in my mind upon first seeing it.\u00a0 There in lies a bit of the problem.\u00a0 I mean \u2013 I practically fell all over myself when it came to agreeing to participating in the festivities.\u00a0 However, I should be completely honest now and fess up to the fact I initially thought Cocktoberfest was something else altogether.\u00a0 It was only natural, considering my understanding of the root word, Oktoberfest, which I\u2019d understood to be some sort of wine tasting for beer drinkers.\u00a0 Keeping that in mind, I naturally assumed the word Cocktoberfest \u2013 well, would involve the tasting of a wide variety of different\u2026um\u2026let\u2019s just say it gave meaning to one of my favorite lines from the Bogie\/Bacall classic, To Have and Have Not.\u00a0 You know the line \u2013 \u2018You just put your lips together and\u2026blow.\u201d\u00a0 Since I was indeed incorrect on that score, we\u2019ll just move on, shall we?<\/p>\n
Despite my initial disappointment on discovering there wasn\u2019t going to be an official cock tasting \u2013 it has wound up being a particularly titillating week here at EM\u2019s.\u00a0 There have been several times I\u2019ve felt like lighting up upon finishing a visit, only to remember I no longer smoke and will therefore never be having another post-coital puff.\u00a0 Guess that means I need to think of something else to stick in my mouth. : )<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve learned several new things this week.\u00a0 For one I was totally shocked to discover that Supernatural Sex referenced a more mystical or mythical meaning.\u00a0 All these years I\u2019d thought it was Super Natural Sex \u2013 or sex you had while sober.\u00a0\u00a0 I was relieved to recall that despite being incorrect as to the true meaning, I hadn\u2019t missed out on having it.\u00a0 That rather large, muscled guy I\u2019d picked up that night, way back in the late nineties, was quite strong.\u00a0 Thank goodness for hairy men!\u00a0 While I don\u2019t recall a particularly unique smell, he did seem to have a bit of a sniffing fetish going on.\u00a0 My very own wolf-man?\u00a0 Who knew I\u2019d been such a were-queen?<\/p>\n
There was that slightly uncomfortable moment when I became a little confused, wondering how we\u2019d allowed such a major faux pas.\u00a0 A blog post about older men and another about classic cock?\u00a0 Holy double booking, Batman!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Awkward!\u00a0\u00a0 Fortunately, they turned out to be different topics after all, not to mention great blog posts, and all was well in the world of Cocktopia.<\/p>\n
Another new lesson for me was James\u2019s post on being Pegged, which is something I\u2019ve never been.\u00a0 I have been pinned on many occasions, and though there was nothing sparkly involved in my experiences \u2013 there was plenty of lube.\u00a0 I\u2019m somewhat envious of the Pegger\u2019s out there when I think back over my past.\u00a0 I mean, seriously\u2026how convenient to be able to select-a-size based upon your own personal comfort level as opposed to the crap-shoot of dealing with whatever you wound up bringing home with you on a Saturday night.<\/p>\n
I must admit to also now being desperate to meet AJ\u2019s father.\u00a0 He sounds so sassy!\u00a0 I love him already!\u00a0 My father\u2019s penchant for naming our pets after traditional Native American words combined with Doorber, the name of the street I grew up on, has unfortunately left me with a truly heinous porn name.\u00a0 I was fascinated by the behind-the-scenes goings-on of AJ\u2019s porn shoot.\u00a0 I\u2019d always imagined it to be like Melrose Place with lots of jizz.\u00a0 And I have a feeling it probably would be if it were me going to the set with my porn star boyfriend.\u00a0 I just know I\u2019d be listening intently to every moan, groan, grunt and thrust as I tried to dissect whether or not my BF was enjoying himself more than he did when he was doing it with me.\u00a0 I\u2019m just fucked in the head that way. : )
\nWhile I\u2019ve personally never been too into the whole S&M scene — I\u2019m not being judgie!\u00a0 I wig out if my shoes are too tight.\u00a0 I just can\u2019t imagine being bound up.\u00a0 It sends me into panic-sweats, people!<\/p>\n
I do however love a good Vamp story.\u00a0 While I have yet to read the books, I wasn\u2019t very impressed by the Twilight movie.\u00a0 For me it didn\u2019t have anything to do with the glittery Vamps, which while seeming a bit out there \u2013 I have always had a fondness for shiny objects.\u00a0 I just felt like the character development wasn\u2019t there in the film.\u00a0 I am over the moon about the Vampire Diary\u2019s and True Blood, though.\u00a0 I do live in constant fear that the market will become overly flooded by blood suckers and insight a backlash, causing these shows to disappear.\u00a0 (That\u2019s part of the reason I haven\u2019t read any of the books.\u00a0 I\u2019ll at least be able to still get my fix when it happens.)<\/p>\n
It will be devastating either way.\u00a0 Losing the V-Diaries would be bad enough.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure my sanity could handle the cancelation of True Blood.\u00a0 (Crosses fingers, rubs lucky horseshoe, & tosses salt over shoulder)\u00a0 I\u2019d tune in at this point just to listen to Stephen Moyer as Vampire Bill say the name Sookie.\u00a0 There\u2019s just something about the way he says it.\u00a0 I think I come a little in my pants every time he does.\u00a0 It\u2019s just fucking hot!\u00a0 I can\u2019t seem to hear it enough, and it\u2019s gotten to the point that I curse my parents whenever I hear it for not having had the foresight to realize they should have named me Sookie!<\/p>\n
I hope everyone else has enjoyed Cocktoberfest as much as I have!
