Rowan McCall is about to start a new phase in his painting career with a one-man show at a prestigious San Francisco art gallery. What should be a triumph turns to tragedy as a religious zealot throws acid on his paintings and Rowan is blinded in the attack. Depressed after the loss of his sight, his beloved painting career and his boyfriend, he’s suicidal, but ready to trade anything to get his sight back. He strikes a deal with an angel who’s all too willing to help him, but Rowan discovers it’s really a demon called Tur’el and he’s about to bargain away his soul. He’s just desperate enough to go ahead with the deal.<\/p>\n
Enter his guardian angel, Zethan, too late to stop the transaction. Sight restored, Rowan is obsessed with painting Zethan’s angelic beauty and when he meets a mortal who embodies the same beauty, Tur’el and Rowan are overjoyed. But finding Zethan again may prove deadly for all of them.<\/p>\n
