\"\"The neverending popularity of fairy tales, even for adults, can’t be ignored. Once Upon a Time<\/em><\/strong> about a town populated with fairy-tale characters who need help to break the curse they live under. Another hit new TV series this season is Grimm<\/em><\/strong>, bringing fairy tales back to their roots, away from the Disnification many of us grew up with. Last year we had Beastly <\/strong><\/em>and\u00a0Amanda Seyfried’s film\u00a0Red Riding Hood<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0opens. Hollywood has several more fairy-tale-inspired films coming during the next year, including Julia Roberts’ turn as a wicked witch.<\/p>\n

Once again, fairy tales come back to their roots: horrific, terrifying, but still a battle between good and evil, and this new crop is definitely not for kids.<\/p>\n

If you like your fairy tales with a little more emphasis on the erotic and the romantic, you’re bound to enjoy the stories in Bedknobs \u00a0& Beanstalks,<\/strong><\/em> Gay Fairy Tales anthology I’ve edited. I’ve selected stories which take the classic battle of good vs. evil and infused it with plenty of sex and romance. You’ll never think of fairy tales the same way again!<\/p>\n

I chose stories with varied settings: go from modern-day reality of foreclosures to feudal Japan, then take a trip to a gingerbread house in the woods or meet the sexiest merman you can imagine. They are all here.<\/p>\n
