  1. I didn’t hit 50K, closer to 32K, Made headway on a three novels/novellas. Did finish a couple of stories. One is currently in the second round of acceptance for an anthology. The other…I forgot to check the call and missed that it was supposed to be a romance.
On the whole, not too bad.

  2. I hit about 110K in 10 weeks. It is out with a few beta readers now. It should be published by the end of Feb. Need to get another one done before RainbowCon in April!

Congratulations, Stephen. Do you have a title and blurb to share?
I won’t make it to Rainbow Con this year, since it’s overlaps with tax season obligations. Maybe next year if the dates are better. Have funn.

I didn’t mention my own progress here, but I finished and subbed my novel, Bound for Trouble, and it’s due out from Dreamspinner in late June. I think it was about 72k at the end of NaNo and 80k when I subbed.

This was the sequel to last year’s NaNoWriMo novel, which I self-pubbed this November – Sesame Swallow, Private Investigator, a raunchy mystery novel that takes place in Baltimore. This year I got going on the sequel, but after 55k words, I wasn’t done yet. I’ll be done and have it ready to go in April of this year. It’ll be called Sesame Swallow and the Case of the Missing Heart. Think sexy, mystery thriller!

I finished and subbed but didn’t get a contract (at least not yet). The full MS was requested earlier this week and I am waiting to hear back (and trying not to stalk my inbox).

I hit the 50k and finished the book in December. It’s coming back from the betas and then it goes to the editor. I’ll be releasing it on February 17th
